Who it's for
All staff, no technical background assumed — administrators, operations, client-facing teams, managers, analysts, executives.
Prerequisites
None. This is deliberately the entry point, and the confidence check in the first thirty minutes makes it safe to admit.
By the end, participants can
- Explain what a large language model is in plain, non-technical language
- Identify where these tools are strong and where they fail
- Write a structured prompt using role, task, context, output format and constraints
- Improve a weak prompt through a refinement cycle
- Apply basic privacy, accuracy and human-review judgement
What they leave with
- Prompt cheat sheet
- Safety & judgement checklist
- Baseline confidence score
- Completed prompt-and-refinement cycle
Format
One instructor-led day (9:00–4:30), in person or virtual. Seven modules with hands-on practice in every one — participants are using a tool within the first 30–45 minutes. Can be split into two half-days for shift-based or dispersed teams.
